These steps are the same for every script. Where the yew2K NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script has a specific requirement, it is called out. Xbox Series X|S connection specifics and a connection-issues fix are documented by Collective Minds and linked below.
Load the script from a PC
Connect the Zen's PROG port to a PC. Open Zen Studio Live in Chrome. Compiler tab, drag the
.gpcin, Compile, drag the result into one of the 8 slots, press Play.Unplug from the PC
Disconnect the Zen from the PC once Play has finished.
Connect to the Xbox
Run a cable from the Zen's rear CONSOLE port to the Xbox.
Plug the controller into A1
The controller goes in the A1 port on the front. Not PROG, not CONSOLE.
Select the slot
Use the Zen's button to pick the slot you loaded. The OLED shows the script name.
Check the in-game settings
Shot Timing: Shots and Layups. Shot Meter: Off. Without these the script cannot time shots.
Open the mod menu
Hold LT and press Menu. The menu draws on the Zen's OLED. Keep LT held while you use the D-pad.
In-game settings that must match
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shot Timing | Shots and Layups | Mandatory — on any other setting the script has nothing to time. |
| Shot Meter | Off | Meter on narrows the green window. |
| Shot Feedback | All Shots | So you can see early / late and adjust the value. |
| Visual Cue | Jump or Set Point | yew's recommendation. |
| Pro Stick | Shots and Dribbles, or Shots Only | Shots and Dribbles if you use the Dribble pages. |
| Controller deadzones | ~5% on both sticks | Raise if the stick drifts. |
First test
Go to online MyCourt. Stand still, click R3 (press the stick in, do not flick it). Auto-Green holds X for the value's ms and releases. If shots come out early, raise the value; late, lower it. Offline MyCourt timing is different from online, so test online.
