A1, and only A1
The script reads the controller in the A1 USB port on the front of the Zen. A controller in PROG or CONSOLE is not read by the script, so the menu will not open and nothing happens in game. This is the first thing to check whenever the Zen looks fine but the script is silent.
Deadzones
| Setting | Start at | Change it when |
|---|---|---|
| Left stick deadzone | ~5% | Your player creeps or turns with the stick untouched. |
| Right stick deadzone | ~5% | Shots start on their own or Auto-Green will not fire because the stick reads off-centre. |
Raise the deadzone in small steps until the drift stops. A larger deadzone is a smaller stick, so stop as soon as the drift is gone. See Stick drift.
What Auto-Green needs from the right stick
- Standstill Auto-Green fires on an R3 click: press the right stick in like a button. Do not flick it.
- The stick must be inside the centre. A drifting stick is read as off-centre and the click does nothing.
- If you set SQ Remap to R3, the Auto-Green click moves to L3. With any other remap it stays on R3.
- The left stick is never driven by the script.
Pro Stick setting
Set Pro Stick to Shots and Dribbles if you use the Dribble Up / Down / Left / Right pages, or Shots Only if you do not. Either way, shoot with Square for Button Rhythm; Auto Tempo is for right-stick shooters only and button shooters leave it off.
